Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including global customers, business teams, and sales representatives, to gather and understand business requirements.
- Expand high-level requirements into detailed functional specifications, including epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure the product vision aligns with customer needs and business goals, while maintaining a focus on usability and scalability.
- Work closely with Agile development teams to prioritize the product backlog and ensure timely delivery of features.
- Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders to provide updates on product progress and gather feedback.
- Analyse and map business scenarios, diving into specific HR/payroll processes when needed to identify potential improvements or challenges.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to guide product innovation.
Qualifications:
- Education: MBA is required.
- Experience:
- Total Experience: Minimum 8 years.
- Functional Expertise: 4-5 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar domain.
- Product Development: 3-4 years as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in HR/payroll software development.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of payroll processing standards, compliances and practices (experience with payroll processing tool is a plus).
- Ability to connect high-level business goals with detailed functional and technical requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with diverse global stakeholders.
- Proven ability to facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams.
- Methodology: Hands-on experience in Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Certifications: Certified Product Owner (CSPO, SAFe, or equivalent) is a plus.
